Accused meth dealer headed for trial

LANSDALE >> A 35-year-old Collegeville man is headed for trial on felony drug-dealing and other charges in connection with a Towamencin traffic stop earlier this month when he was allegedly found in possession of more than 100 grams of methamphetamine, according to police.

David Bryan Merlo, of the 3800 block of Germantown Pike, was led by police into Lansdale District Judge Edward Levine’s courtroom for a preliminary hearing, at which prosecutors withdrew two charges originally filed against him – misdemeanor DUI and summary driving with a suspended license.
