HATFIELD TWP. >> Hatfield Township police say a 50-year-old Macungie man was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs and recklessly endangering a child after witnesses reported seeing him driving erratically with his 5-year-old grandson in the car.

Francisco Rubio, of the 200 block of West Girard Street, is being bars at Montgomery County jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail and charged with 13 criminal counts in connection with the reported Feb.

Bystanders save Lansdale driver after one-car crash

JENKINTOWN >> Three bystanders were able to pull a Lansdale man from his vehicle after it crashed at the Jenkintown Train Station last week and burst into flames.

Juan C. Freyre, 43, of the 800 block of Jackson Street, was eastbound on Township Line Road around 2 p.m. Feb. 2 when he suffered a medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle near the intersection of Greenwood and West avenues, police said.
