At the Feb. 6 council meeting, Officer Benjamin Brunner was sworn in as the newest member of the department.

Juan C. Freyre, 43, of the 800 block of Jackson Street, was eastbound on Township Line Road around 2 p.m. Feb. 2 when he suffered a medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle near the intersection of Greenwood and West avenues, police said.
