Exciting time for Keystone Opportunity Center—community support is tremendous, but the needs are great—so we need the generous spirit to continue—not just through the holidays.
Launching the Key Holder Campaign- this week with hopes of generating new interest and regular donations from local businesses,
community groups and private individuals with a passion for our mission--Rich
New opportunities for the Keystone Education Department- when state Adult Education funding was reallocated for the 2011-2012 school year, Keystone was the recipient of nearly twice as much funding as the previous year, thanks in part to the positive achievements of the students. Lots of exciting new opportunities are now available for our students.
Education Updates
- New directions in Adult Education—state focus on funds and programs
- State Education department consolidated and reallocated funding
- Program focus is on job readiness and preparation for work force

- Increased funding in Adult Education and Family Literacy programs—almost doubled for 2011-12 school year.

troop canvassing your area, you can drop off donations at 142 Main Street in Souderton on November 19 between 10:00a.m. and 3:00p.m. or stop at the food pantry during working hours at 104 Main Street to deliver donations anytime. Especially in need of protein rich items like peanut butter, canned meats—tuna, chicken, stews, meaty soups.
