School districts across the region have begun announcing delays for Thursday morning with a winter storm on the horizon. A listing of delays is below and alphabetical by county, with colleges, universities, private and parochial school delays at the bottom.

LANSDALE >> An already convicted 23-year-old North Penn heroin dealer arrested again in December for allegedly selling the deadly narcotic is headed for trial on a half-dozen criminal counts after waiving his preliminary hearing in district court.

Robert Duane Weyant, of the 1100 block of Highpoint Circle in Upper Gwynedd, appeared before Lansdale District Judge Edward Levine and waived felony counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility, as well as misdemeanor counts of receipt in commerce, illegal drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, records show.

Lansdale man gets prison time for assault

NORRISTOWN >> A 25-year-old Lansdale man has been sentenced to state prison time after admitting to attacking his girlfriend and her 2-year-old daughter last year, according to court records.

Charles Edwin “Chucky” Rutledge IV, of the 200 block of West Fifth Street, pleaded guilty in Montgomery County court to first-degree misdemeanor endangering the welfare of children and second-degree misdemeanor simple assault, records indicate.
