Two new Towamencin police officers sworn in

Towamencin >> Two new officers received their badges Wednesday night, and are now officially members of the Towamencin Police Department.

Officers Patrick Kilroy and Christopher McAroy were both sworn in Wednesday, before a crowd of friends, family, and fellow officers.

“While it’s an exciting time for them, it’s also an exciting time for us,” said police Chief Tim Dickinson.

NORRISTOWN >> A Philadelphia man who authorities alleged toppled headstones at an Abington cemetery is on his way to state prison for assaulting township police officers who investigated the vandalism.
