Man headed to trial for crash that killed Bucks County deputy sheriff

PERKASIE >> An East Rockhill man charged with homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence and other offenses in the May 16 crash that killed 48-year-old Bucks County Deputy Sheriff Keith Clymer is headed for trial on nine criminal counts after a brief preliminary hearing Monday morning.

Handcuffed and clad in an orange prison jumpsuit as he was led by police into Perkasie District Judge Charles Baum’s courtroom, 27-year-old Harry Joseph Burak kept his head down as he walked to the defendant’s table and did not make eye contact with anyone in the packed gallery, including Clymer’s 17-year-old son, who sat in the front row and was comforted by other family members.
