North Montco director announces retirement plans as he faces DUI charges

TOWAMENCIN >> The leader of North Montco Technical Career Center in Towamencin has announced his plans to retire at the end of the year as he faces charges from an alleged DUI incident last month.

Michael Lucas, North Montco’s administrative director for nearly 15 years, will be departing the school at the end of December, as he faces a court date that month.

State court upholds Upper Gwynedd man's sentence for fatal crash

NORRISTOWN >> An Upper Gwynedd man’s conviction and state prison term for causing a one-vehicle crash and leaving the scene without providing aid to his dying passenger will remain intact, according to a state court.

The Pennsylvania Superior Court recently upheld the 3-to-6-year prison term imposed against Sean Christopher Sperl in April 2016 by Montgomery County Judge Gary S.

The sanctuary of St. John’s United Church in Lansdale will be filled with the unique sounds of the church’s newly renovated and enlarged pipe organ when the Schultz Memorial Organ is dedicated at a special concert on Sunday, Nov. 5. The program will be held at 4 p.m. at the church at 500 West Main St.
