Twin duplex plan approved by Lansdale planning commission

LANSDALE >> A plan to build new houses on the 400 block of W. Seventh St. in Lansdale has cleared a hurdle, earning approval from the borough’s planning commission Monday night.

“This is a redevelopment property located at Seventh and Jacob Streets, to build two two-unit duplexes, with parking in the rear,” said attorney Carl Weiner.

Souderton Area School District plans to drop bus transportation for more than 300 students

SOUDERTON >> The Souderton Area School District plans to drop five bus routes – meaning more than 300 students who were riding the bus, 183 of whom live in Souderton Borough, will have to either walk to school or be driven by their parents – Souderton Borough police Chief James Leary said at the July 16 Souderton Borough Council work session meeting.
