“We offer a 28-inch pizza, the biggest pizza that’s served in our area,” owner Davide Sowhangar said.

The 2007 Souderton Area High School graduate started the business in 2009 in partnership with his parents, David and Annette Sowhangar, who operate the Main Street Pizzeria & Grille in Lansdale.

Souderton approves 10 percent sewer rate hike

SOUDERTON >> The cost of flushing it down has gone up.

Sewer rates increase 10 percent, effective Feb. 1, following a unanimous Souderton Borough Council vote at its Feb. 6 meeting.

The increase will amount to $8 to $20 per quarter year, depending on the size of a family and the amount of water consumed by the family, Borough Manager Mike Coll said following the meeting.

Hatfield board OKs change to traffic signal timing, could streamline process in future

A change to a traffic signal on Broad Street in Hatfield could be coming this year, and a change in township codes could come much sooner.

The township commissioners voted last week to approve a traffic signal modification permit, a move that Township Manager Aaron Bibro said he’d like to bypass in future cases.
