Sign, canopy variances approved for Franconia gas station
FRANCONIA >> A canopy can be built over a set of gasoline dispensers and a new sign installed at the gasoline station on the triangle of land between Route 113, Telford Pike and Bergey Road, the Franconia Township Zoning Hearing Board decided following an April 5 hearing.
Conditions on the plan include that the light from the sign and canopy doesn’t leave the property, that the lights are turned off when the business closes for the night, and that the canopy be constructed and look like the canopy at an existing Harleysville gas station, Bernadette Kearney, the zoning board’s solicitor, said.
