Souderton celebration weekend heralded as Norman Rockwell-type scene

SOUDERTON >> The June 15 to 17 celebration weekend was reminiscent of scenes that could have been in a Norman Rockwell painting, borough officials say.

“It was wonderful,” Souderton Borough Council member Jeff Gross said at the June 18 council work session.

Starting with Third Fridays activities on Friday evening, the weekend included special pool activities and a car show on Saturday, an ecumenical worship service on Sunday morning and Concert Sundaes in the park followed by fireworks Sunday night.
