Trial ordered in alleged Hatfield armed robbery

LANSDALE >> A 36-year-old Philadelphia man accused of committing an armed robbery of a Hatfield Borough resident is headed for trial on 17 felony and misdemeanor criminal counts while an investigation into other individuals possibly involved in the incident is ongoing, police said Wednesday.

James Lieng Te, of the 200 block of Kenilworth Avenue, had felony counts of robbery, burglary, illegal firearms possession, conspiracy and criminal trespassing, as well as several related misdemeanor charges, held for trial at county court by Lansdale District Judge Edward Levine after a preliminary hearing.
