Upper Salford man admits to heroin-fueled crimes, seeks treatment

NORRISTOWN >> An Upper Salford man who admitted to several drug-fueled crimes, including the attempted robbery of a Lower Frederick gas station, will be evaluated for a state prison program that offers inmates treatment for their addictions.

Andrew Jamison Way, 25, of the 1500 block of Salford Street, will be evaluated by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections for potential admission to the state’s Intermediate Punishment program which can include incarceration and drug treatment.
